Counselling and Development's workshops are FREE for all currently registered Concordia students.

If you don't have access to the internet or need help registering, drop by the Student Success Program Centre (SGW H-481 or Loy AD-101) for assistance or to use one of our computers.

F.A.Q - Frequently Asked Questions and Registration Information

Eligibility

Counselling and Development's workshops are free for all currently registered students. A valid Concordia student ID card is required to attend. Alumni are not eligible to attend our workshops. For other Alumni Services please visit Career and Placement Services.

How to Register

• Logging into MyConcordia Portal (new window) using your netname and password
• Under "Student Services" click on "Counselling and "Development"
• Carefully read the usage Terms and Conditions and click "Accept" if you agree
• Click on "Events and Workshops"
• Search for the workshop you wish to attend
• Select the workshop and click on "Register"

Location Information

Unless otherwise indicated, all workshops take place in the Counselling and Development offices which are located on both campuses.

SGW: Hall Building, Room H-440, (514) 848-2424 ext. 3545
LOY: Administration Building, Room AD-103, (514) 848-2424 ext. 3555

Lateness and Capacity

Please note that at Counselling and Development, we apply a "First Come, First Served' policy in order to accommodate the maximum number of participants. To this end we recommend that you arrive at least 15-mintes early for our workshops as they can fill up quickly. Please also note that in certain workshops latecomers will not be admitted. In addition, should we reach capacity, we reserve the right to deny access to the workshop, even if you have registered. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Cancellation Procedure

If you are unable to attend a workshop please cancel your registration by:

• Logging into MyConcordia Portal (new window) using your netname and password
• Under "Student Services" click on "Counselling and "Development"
• Carefully read the usage Terms and Conditions and click "Accept" if you agree
• Click on "Events and Workshops" Calendar
• Click on "Cancel" Registration
