Our Services

At Counselling and Development our goal is to empower all Concordia students to achieve their personal, academic, and career potential. Our team of professionals provides Concordia students with individual support through one-to-one appointments, support groups and over 80 workshops offered each semester. Students can benefit from Personal, Educational or Career Counselling appointments through Counselling and Psychological Services, develop learning strategies through Student Learning Services, or prepare for the work force through Career and Placement Services.

Students who are new to Concordia are encouraged to take advantage of the transition services offered by Services for New Students. Counselling and Development also manages four drop-in centres, the Career Resource Centre (CRC), the Student Success Center and the Student Success Resource Centre and the LIVE Centre. The CRC is the largest career libraries in Canada, and boasts an extensive collection of career planning books categorized by program of study, resources on leadership and personal development.
